Kristy Sumlin

I feel absolutely blessed to be at St. Paul's!  I began teaching K-3 at St. Paul's in 2009.  I have a BA in Elementary Education from LA Tech, Masters in Elementary Education and Reading Specialist Certification from Centenary College.  I am married to Shane Sumlin who is a financial advisor here in Shreveport.  We have two children, who are both St. Paul's graduates.  Our daughter Maggie is a Kinesiology major at LA Tech and our son Kasch, attends Byrd High School.  We are now busy at home with our new yellow lab puppy, Margeaux.  When I am not chasing our puppy, I love spending time with my friends and family, reading, watching movies, taking Pure Barre classes and watching football games!  I love cheering for the LA Tech Bulldogs and the New Orleans Saints!  Who Dat! & Go Dawgs!
