My job is the best job in the whole world – Principal of St. Paul's Day School!

For 37 years I have had the privilege of combining a part-time “job”, a full-time ministry and a life-long passion for educating young children.  I’ve loved seeing hundreds (maybe thousands) of preschoolers pass through our doors and go on to big school with an excellent educational foundation, a song on their lips and Jesus in their hearts! One of my greatest joys is seeing many of our former students bringing their own children to St. Paul’s for preschool.  Every day I get to work alongside the most talented, enthusiastic and dedicated educators and staff anywhere.

I earned my degree in Elementary Education from NSU, a Masters of Education from LSU and Early Childhood Certification from LSUS.

I am married to Chris Rose and we have three grown children, Mandy Metrejean and husband, Chris; Missy Heidelberg and husband, Mack; and Andrew Rose and wife, Julie. Best of all, we are proud grandparents of eight wonderful grandchildren!
